A little help with Speach.

Set up your voice keyboard, find a shortcut, or get a hand with something that isn’t working.

Availability and requirements

Speach requires iOS 26 or later. Follow the in-app guides for your device. For availability and download help, contact the developer.

Set up the voice keyboard

1. Open Speach and complete onboarding. Follow the keyboard setup guide in the app.
2. In iPhone Settings, go to General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard, then select Speach.
3. Open the Speach keyboard settings and enable Allow Full Access so the keyboard can communicate with the app.
4. Open a text field in an app that supports third-party keyboards. Touch and hold the globe key, then choose Speach.
5. Tap Speach’s voice control to begin. Speach handles recording in the app and delivers the text back to the keyboard. Keep the app available while a listening session is active.

The keyboard includes ordinary letter keys for edits. iOS uses the Apple keyboard for some fields, including passwords, and an app may disable third-party keyboards entirely.

The keyboard isn’t showing up

Check that Speach is listed under Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards. Try a regular text field in Notes. Switch keyboards with the globe key. After changing Full Access, open Speach again: iOS may restart the app when this permission changes.

Start a take with a shortcut

Use the setup guides in Speach for the Action Button, Back Tap, Control Center, and Lock Screen. Available options depend on your iPhone and iOS settings.

• Action Button: on a compatible iPhone, assign the Speak with Speach shortcut in Settings → Action Button → Shortcut.
• Back Tap: add the Speak with Speach shortcut, then choose it under Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Back Tap → Double Tap or Triple Tap.
• Control Center: open Control Center, enter edit mode, and add Speach’s control.
• Lock Screen: customize your Lock Screen and add the Speach widget. Your iPhone may require unlocking before it can start recording.

If a shortcut doesn’t start a take, open Speach, check permissions, and follow the app’s setup verification steps.

Recording and transcription

Nothing happens when I speak

Check Speach’s microphone and speech recognition permissions in iPhone Settings. Open the app and confirm that language assets have finished downloading. Try a short take in a quiet place. If a Bluetooth microphone is connected, check that it is the input you intend to use.

Using Speach offline

Transcription runs on your iPhone. Download the required language assets while online before using Speach offline. The optional High accuracy model also needs a one-time download and sufficient free storage. App Store purchases and restoring access require an internet connection.

AI polish is unavailable

Full polish requires a compatible Apple Intelligence device with Apple Intelligence enabled and the necessary models ready. If it isn’t available, Speach uses light cleanup. Core transcription does not require full AI polish.

Find or delete a take

Open History in Speach to revisit saved takes and filter by category. Delete content there when you no longer need it. Shared or exported copies are managed in the destination app.

Subscriptions, trials, and refunds

Speach Pro offers monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions. The in-app purchase screen will show the final price, any eligible trial, and renewal terms before you confirm. Trial offers depend on Apple Account eligibility.

• Restore access: use Restore Purchases in Speach with the Apple Account that made the purchase.
• Manage or cancel: open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Speach. See Apple’s cancellation instructions.
• Request a refund: use Apple’s Report a Problem. Apple processes purchases and decides refund eligibility.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. A trial reminder requires notification permission; manage your subscription through Apple even if you do not receive a reminder.
