What is Speach?
Speach is a speech-to-text app and voice keyboard for iPhone. You talk, it writes notes, messages, emails and ideas, typed straight into the app you’re using.
How is this different from iPhone dictation?
Built-in dictation fills a text field you’ve already opened. Speach also starts without opening anything, from the Action Button or Lock Screen, works out whether you’re writing a note, message, email or idea, and keeps every take with the time you’ve saved.
How does the voice keyboard work?
Switch to Speach with the globe key in any app and tap Tap to speak above the letters. It records in place and types as you talk. The full QWERTY keyboard stays there for edits.
Do I have to choose note, message or email?
No. About five words in, Speach works out whether you’re writing a note, a message, an email or an idea, and sends it to the right place.
Is my voice transcribed on my iPhone?
Yes. Transcription happens on-device. Full Access lets the keyboard communicate with the Speach app to deliver dictated text. Your audio and text are not uploaded for transcription. Saved takes remain on your iPhone.
How much does Speach cost?
